Mitochondria are derived from endosymbiotic bacteria

Based on the phylogentic tree of life archea and eukaryotes have derived in the same origin and bacteria is present in the other side means eukaryotes and bacteria do not have common origin and as the red line indicates mitochondria is obtained from endosymbiotic bacteria that was living inside the eukaryote as mutualistic organism
