Answer #1

Option 1 - Temperature

The membrane is composed of phospholipids that has a head outside and a tail inside. The tails are nothing but fatty acid chains and those are responsible for the fluidity of membrane. As the temperature decreases the fatty acid chains can't move properly and they become stiff so that the fluidity of membrane also decreases. Thus the decreased temperature causes the decrease in the membrane fluidity and membrane permeability.
