Geometric rate of increase = Nt+1-Nt

where Nt: number of plant after time t

in this case Nt = 98 plants/m2

therefore after putting all the values in formula we will get;

98 + 1 /98 = 99/98= 1.01

Hence, the geometric rate of increase in two months is 1.01.
