a)similarities:
In animal and plant life cycle the process of fertilization is sam as it made by gamete,but the differnce is only their ploidy.and ploidy is affected by process of fusion that is mitotic and meiosis cell division
b)difference
In this the process of mitosis gnerally happend in plants because they do asexual reproduction while in animals both mitosis and meosis take place but in gamete formation meosis takes place and hence it give haploid gamete
B)ploidy of gametes
a)Similarities
In animal body 46 number of chromosome presnt in dna and hence its all body cell except the gamet having 2n where n represent half no.of chromosome.and as same as animal having this type of ploidy that is diploid cell as well as gamete
b)difference
In gamete the animal produce only haploid gamete so that after fertilization it become 2n
While in plants the ploidy mostly having diploid status due to asexual reproduction.
C)The ploidy of zygote:
a)similarites
Their is genrally very rare similarites stablish between ploidy of zygote.since the animals produce haploid gamete but plant doesnt or in rare case .
b)diffence:
Animal zygote is made by haplontic intermission of two differnt gamete and they produce diplotic gamete
But in plants in asexual reproduction they produce diplontic zygote but in sexual reproduction they produce diffent haplontic sproes and this give birth to the diplontic plant zygote
E)The precence of multicellular haplontic stage
In animals the process of making zygote is very complex.It requires numerious of steps to follow.like in making of sperms:
The spermiogenis process take place in which the diploid sperm cell breaks and give birth to sperms which is haploid .
Similarly ovaray produce eggs which also go through large process and give birth to haplontic egg.
In plants their is 4 stages.
Haplontic
Diplontic
Sporophytic stage
Haplodiplontic
Out of this the haplontic stage is genrally occure when the plant is sexually produce gametes and this gamets produced by megasporengium and microsporengium as well.
F)The process by which zygote divides:
In animals the process of zygote devlepment genrally occurs inside uterus and this involves very numerous process like making of heart ,limbs etc.and after gesation period the fouetus cames out.
