Answer #1

1. The graph is showing the absorbance of light at different wavelength by 3 different pigments. The absorbance is higher at blue and red region of spectrum for 3 pigments. The pigment mixture is not showing any absorbance on whole visible spectrum.

2. Light intensity means the amount of light. If the intensity of light is increased then rate of photosynthesis increases so the production rate of sugars increases and there will be growth of plant.

3. Blue or red color lights should installed as pigments absorption rate for the light is higher in these colors.

4. Blue and red color should be choosen . If these two colors will be provided then the absorption of light would be maximum . So the plant growth will be maximum .

Welcome to our plant sciences department here at TransBiol It's great to have you as an intern. I'm the lead scientist of a team developing new herbicides to use against invasive plant species. The team has been really swamped with work, so it'll be great to have some help analyzing all the data we're collecting. Since it's your first day, a great way to get started with any research project is to brush up on the background knowledge you'll need...
