Answer #1

1. Plants store carbohydrates in their roots or leaves in the form of starch which you testes for with iodine solution.

2. Which colour of light (red, green or blue) resulted in the least amount of photosynthesis in the Geranium leaves? Green.

3. What are the two products of photosynthesis? Oxygen and glucose.

4. Plant cells get their ATP from photosynthesis and do not use cellular respiration. - FALSE. ( ATP is produced during cellular respiration in mitochondria in the chloroplasts.)

5. Polar molecules travel faster on chromatography paper than non-polar molecules. FALSE. (Polar molecules move slowly along the chromatography paper than non-polar molecules.)
