The new SEIR model with vital dynamics (birth and death rates), vaccinations (newbornsand non-newborns), and temporary immunity provides a mathematical description of infectious diseases and coresponding spread in biology. Each word in SEIR refers to susceptible individuals, exposed individuals, infected individuals and recovered individuals. For specific disease like COVID-19 it can describe and correlate very well. Wide spread disease like this can be accomodate in a sepparate pool with its characteristics.
