Answer #1

Ans:-9.NADP+  is a lower energy form,to become NADPH it requires a proton  and electron. 2electrone and 2hydrogen ions are required for the conversion.

10.light dependent reaction occur in thylakoid membrane.this membrane is present in the chloroplast of the plant cell.

11.By the help of light, photolysis of water occur which split the H20 molecule in to H+ ions, oxygen gas and electrons.

12.The product of light dependent reaction are NADPH and ATP.this products are formed by electron transport chain in chloroplast.

13.The light energy from the sun converted in to chemical energy.it is stored in form of carbohydrates (starch).

14.By phosphorylation of ADP ,ATP is formed.this is achieved by ATP synthase. It transports proton down the gradient(proton potential created by action of electron transport chain) the energy produced used in phosphorylation of ADP.

15.Calvin cycle takes place in stroma,it is the inner space of chloroplast.

16.In calvin cycle, carbon from carbon dioxide are added to RuBP .the final product was glucose.carbon dioxide is attached by help of enzyme rubisco, when 3 co2 enter the cycle,6 molecule of 3-phosphoglycerate produced.

17.As calvin cycle is not directly driven by light besides it depends on the products of light reaction like NADPH and ATP to carry out the reaction.so,it is known as light independent reaction.

18.CO2,ATP,NADPH enters the calvin cycle,CO2 comes from atmosphere and ATP ,NADPH are from the light reactions.

19.end product of calvin cycle is glucose(C6H12O6),to make one glucose molecule 6 turns of calvin cycle required.
20.Three uses are 1.use to produce ATP molecule

2.store in form of starch for future use in ATP production.

3.Helps in building of other molecule.
