The image shown is premature mRNA. It will undergo RNA processing to form mature mRNA. In this procrss, introns and other non coding regions will be removed.

1 to 100 is promoter which will be removed.

1100 to 2100 and 3100 to 4100 are introns which will be removed.

Only exons will be there, 100 to 1100, 2100 to 3100 and 4100 to 5100, which is approximately equal to 3000 nucleotides.
