Population genetics play a very major role in evolution. With passage of time, species from one place migrated to another. This lead to the theory of migration- selection balance which is important is maintaining genetic diversity and allowing gene flow. Out of the given combinations low migration and high selection would lead to a narrow cline(transition zone) because as the migration is low, less organisms will travel from their place of origin to another place. As the selection process is high which means that whatever number of species are present, they try their best to adapt to changing environment by the process of natural selection.
