We know that, an OD 600 measrement of 1 is equivalent to either 3.13*107 cfu/ml or 3.66 Mc Farland's unit.

therefore,

OD 600 = 2 = 2* 3.13* 107 cfu/ml = 6.26 * 107 cfu/ml

1.2 BCU= 3.756 *107 cfu/ml
