Ecological species concept refers to species that thrive in niche environments under which no other species would be able to cope. Therefore, in this case, it is possible for different species to reproduce when they live in the same ecosystem. The right answer is option C.

Interbreeding between species is possible under ideal conditons, so option A would be wrong; Option C would be wrong too as unnatura circumstances created by human intervention can only jeopardise the possibility of interbreeding as there would be ecological dsturbance.
