Answer #1

Answer :

Answer is b) Curly fur is dominant over straight and yellow and red colours show incomplete dominance.

As given both male and female lions are true breeding.

Male has straight and yellow fur

Female has curly and red fur

Offsprings in F1 after crossing have curly and orange fur.

So it is clear from observation that

A) Curly dominates on straight trait

B) Since in colour expression , neither of the colour traits of parents is expressed, rather a colour in between yellow and red (orange ) is expressed .Hence it is a phenomenon of incomplete dominance.

For codominance both colours should have been expressed in same lion.

please answer two question below thankyou e) 9; 9 3. In another plant species, the presence and type of hairs on the plant are controlled by epistatic interaction between two independently assorting genes. Gene C determines whether the plant has hairs (dominant) or not (recessive); Rene D determines whether the hairs are straight (dominant) or curly (recessive). In a cross between a straight-haired plant and a curly- haired plant, 1/4 of the offspring have no hairs. 3/8 have straight hairs,...
