Answer #1

8)B) Phytochrome- It absorbs light in red/far red region and regulates seed germination.Phototropin is not as they absorb light in blue region

9)Red light induces germination whereas far red light inhibits seed germination in lettuce.

10)D) Nitrite reductase As ths enzyme is used for the conversion of nitrite into ammonia while the other enzymes are used in amino acid assimilation

11)B) Pineapple because during night time stomata are open and CO2 enters the cell and is fixed whereas during the day time ATP and NADPH is formed which is utilised for the calvin cycle. So calvin cycle is operated during day time.

12)D) Seed germination. All the above phenomenon occur in blue light ie closing and opening of stomata and turgor pressure whereas the seed germination occurs in red light.

13)D)None as the PPP generates intermediates like NADPH which  is used for lipid synthesis and 5 carbon intermediates used for the synthesis of nucleic acid. it is also used for reducing the oxidising stress in the cytosol

14) A)Phototropin regulates stomatal movement.

15)C) Phosphoglycerate- As the conversion from 1,3 bisphosphoglycerate to 3 phosphoglycerate there is synthesis of ATP begins. In the later cycle ATP synthesis occurs during formation of Pyruvate.
