1 e) The sucrose molecule is 1.06 nm in diameter, which is slightly larger than that of glucose (0.86 nm)

b) 3.8 nm in diameter and 15 nm long molecule

d ) The lactose, salt, and other minor soluble constituents have a diameter of 0.5 nm
