Answer #1

1)Yes now reasearchers are managed to include natural proteins channrls in artificial membrane. But the rate of transport of ions through this channel is 10 times slower than the. natural one.

2)Various factors are

1.Chemical nature of the membrane. It must be hydrophllic nature for easy water diffusion

2.pore size of the membrane

3.If hydrophobic material hydrocarbon is used then it must be coated with PVC otherwise hemocoagulation takes place

4.The membrane should not be chemicaly reactive. It can alter nature of blood

5.Thickness of membrane should be less,so diffusion will be faster.

3)When we use membrane of living cells ,they are hydrophllic nature so they began to agglutinate RBC and dialysis will not be done perfectly
