Answer #1

Ans- Pure red cell aplasia

In pure red cell aplasia , the precursors which are responsible for production of red blood cells are effected. White blood precursors are not effected. This is the reason why we see absence of erythroid precursors. It is a normocytic normochromic anemia syndrome which causes decline of red blood cells precursors in the bone marrow. The bone marrow examination reveals normal cellularity because white blood cell formation and platelet formation is not effected. The precursors of the cells remain active and are able to produce cells . Only erythroid precursors are effected in this condition.
