Answer #1

# imprimting; Imprinting in psychobiology is a form of learning in very young animals. In this the young ones fix their attention to an object with which they have visual, auditory and tactile experience. From then they follow that object.

# This occurs when the animals are very young. Especially starts shortly after hatching.

# Invariably the object on which the young ones imprint is their parents especially the mother. Imprinting is studied thoroughly in birds.

# Once the young one start to imprint on one object, it will never be forgotten and they will not imprint on other object also. This confirms that, imprinting is considered as a learning process.

# Behaviours that are closely controlled by genes with little or no environmental influence are called as innate. Imprinting is said to be innate when they learn the things through a stimulous. Imprinting promotes the survival of the newborns.
