Answer #1

1. Autosomal dominant

It is autosomal because almost equal number of males and females are affected. It is dominant because it is present in all the generations.

2. Autosomal recessive

It is autosomal because it is present in almost an equal number of males and females. It is recessive because it is not present in all the generations.

3. Autosomal recessive

Reason same as 2

4. X linked dominant

It is X linked because more number of females are affected as compared to males. In this type of trait, males die at an early stage because they have only one copy of X chromosome and if they get mutated, then their survival becomes difficult. It is dominant because it is present in all the generations. One characteristic feature of X linked dominant traits is that the trait is always passed on from affected father to his daughter.

5. X lined dominant

Reason same as 4
