1. (c.) Endocytosis

Endocytosis means Internalization of materials. In the process of endocytosis the material is taken from the surrounding environment and it does bind to the plasma membrane and there occurs the formation of some invagination forming small vesicles. These vesicles pinched off and release the substances inside the cell.

2. (b) Phagocytosis

Phagocytosis is the process by which cells engulf bacteria. Phagocytosis literally means Cell eating. The big cells or bacteria are ingested by white blood cells (macrophage, monocytes, neutrophils) by the process of endocytosis.
