Suppose a cell with 28 chromosomes undergoes mitotis then in metaphase cell will be having 28 chromosome and 28 centromeres and after that cell undergoes early anaphase in which sister chromatids of a bivalent chromosome will start to apart and then in late anaphase two sister chromatids will fall apart leaving 1 centromere in each and forming the 2 sets of daughter chromosomes with28 daughter chromosomes and 28 centromeres in each
