  • Microspores (male).

Answer: Option B) chlorophytes.

Explanation: The Chlorophytes (i.e, all green algae) and the plants have a common evolutionary ancestor and both of them has the photosynthetic pigments chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b present in them.
