First option is incorrect because natural selection is a non random process all the variations caused due to this process are random in nature.

Second option is correct because natural selection helps an organism to adapt better in its environment. It occurs only because of the reason that some traits are beneficial in some environment where as some other traits are beneficial in different type of environment.

Third option is correct because natural selection is a very powerful force for causing evolution.

Fourth option is also correct because it may take hundreds of generation to change the frequency of an allele by natural selection.
