Planaria belongs to platyhelminthes phylum.organism of this phylum has bilateral symmetry,unsegemented soft bodied bovertebrates.these are found in fresh water,salt water,soils,inside logs,humid areas.it has ability to regenerate it's body parts.it has photoreceptors cells which helps it to move away from light.

Planaria eats up dead rotten organisms which upon they stuck help of their Muscular mouth.they are considered as a model thing for experimenting many things.they are very helpful in gaseous excjaexc through their body.they make pond,well,water bodies clean.these can be very helpful in future medication.it resists bacteria.
