Could you please explain there is no current in gate
and why do we add current source in DC analysis.
dont we have to open circuit current sources in dc analysis
thanks in advance
Gate terminal is isolated from the substrate by dielectric material which doesn't allow to pass current form gate terminal, hence gate current is zero.
To bais the Mosfet in saturation region DC current source is added.
In AC analysis current source is open circuited.

Why do not we take the channel-length modulation and body-effect into consideration in Figure b,c,d? Why do we take the channel-length modulation and body-effect into consideration in Figure a? Why do we just take body-effect without the channel-length modulation into consideration in Figure e? Consider the circuit shown below. Write a short analysis of whether or not it will work as designed. If you think that it won't work, discuss what changes you would make to the circuit to fix the problem(s). The curve of drain current versus gate to source voltage, Vos for the MOSFET is given for your reference on the next page. The maximum Drain to Source voltage of the MOSFET is 300 Volts and the maximum drain current is 5...
