Part A:

Molar mass of NaCl = 58.44g.mol

moles of NaCl = mass of NaCl in gram / molar mass of NaCl

Hence, mass of NaCl in gram = moles of NaCl x molar mass of NaCl

Now, mass of 2.22 moles of NaCl = 2.22 x 58.44

mass of 2.22 moles of NaCl = 129.73g

Part B:

Number of molecules of H2O in 1 mole of ice = 6.022 x 1023   [ie. Avogadro`s constant]

So, number of molecules of H2O in 1.50 mole of ice = 1.50 x 6.022 x 1023  

= 9.03 x 1023 molecules
