7. The plus end of actin (thin filament of muscle fiber) attaches to the Z-disc in a sarcomere (structural & functional unit of muscle), which includes the crosslinking of alpha-actinin protein.

8. In general. motor proteins such as kinesins walk cargo toward the plus end of microtubules while ATP hydrolysis performed by dyneins walk or carry cargo toward the minus end of microtubules.
