1. Rickets is caused as a result of vitamin D deficiency. The
role of vitamin D in the body is its significance in the absorption
of phosphorus and calcium from the gut. Consequently, phosphorus
and calcium in the blood is absorbed in the extracellular matrix of
bone hence giving them strength. Therefore, deficiency of vitamin D
results to soft bones that are a symptom of rickets.
2.The internal sphincters is made by of smooth muscle.
-Once the large intestine has pushed stool to the anorectal area,
sphinctermuscles that control feces leaving the body are used.
Children are able to voluntarily control those muscles to hold
stool, or relax the muscles to go to the bathroom.
3.They do not have the supplies necessary to rebuild collagen,
which means tendons and ligaments will not real completely from
injury.
4. - In marfan syndrome connective Tissue is involved.
- It affects the Skeleton, Heart, blood vessies eyes, skin, Nervous
system, and lungs.
- The signs and symptoms are, Long arms, legs, and fingers , Taller
thin bone, curved spine, Heart problems, raised roof of mouth and
crowded teeth, blurred vision or nearsightedness, bulging etc.
