Answer #1

Solution :

Given that ,

a = 201

b = 212

P( c < X < d ) = ( d - c ) / ( b - a )

P( 203 < X < 210 ) = ( 210 - 203 ) / ( 212 - 201 )

= 0.6364

The probability that a defensive lineman on this team will weigh between 203 and 210 lbs 0.6364.
