Answer : - Dolphin, Bat, and Primate.

  • Mammals are the group of organisms which have mammary glands and the newborn is fed with secretions of mammary glands.
  • Mammals include monotremes, marsupial mammals and placental mammals .
  • Monotremes are egg laying mammals. After the egg hatches, the newborn is fed with secretions of mammary gland.
  • Marsupial mammals give birth to young ones. However, the newborn is immature and requires the mother's pouch for further development.
  • Placental mammals give birth to well developed offspring. The offspring is nourished well within the uterus of the mother upto a certain gestation period. Nutrients, wastes, gases etc are exchanged through the placenta between the mother and the offspring.
  • In the given question, opossum is a marsupial mammal, platypus is a monotreme, ostrich is a bird (or aves- egg laying warm blooded animals), kangaroo is a marsupial mammal, echidna is a monotreme.
