Briefly talk about the influence of bodies of water, ocean currents, and topography on the precipitation and temperature of terrestrial enviroments
The temperature is effected by mountains, valleys and local topography. These factors effect the movement of air, precipation and temperature.
Topography effect water movement. Mountains are natural barriers They are colder than the surrounding flat areas as the temperature reduces with elevation.
Ocean water evoporates and increases the temperature and humidity of the surrounding air. it forms the rain and storms. The movements of ocean water in a continuous flow form currents. Ocean currents act like conveyer belt and it transports warm water from equator toward the poles. It transports cold water from the poles back to the tropics. By this they regulate global climate. Without currents they will be more extreme temperature and the earth will be less habitable

briefly explain the word "race" and talk about it Also include a two minute video that is related to race
Briefly describe glycolysis and the citric acid cycle. Talk about ATP, high-energy electron carriers, oxygen requirements, carbons, inputs & outs, and locations.
Please discuss numerical algorithms and briefly talk about their time complexities. Some examples are randomizing values, breaking numbers into their prime factors, finding greatest common divisors, computing geometric areas, etc. Note: Question is from advanced algorithms. I just need one paragraph of information on this.
4. The vertical distribution of trace elements in the ocean provides clues about their reactivity and biogeochemistry. Although found in trace amounts in sea water, bioactive metals are of interest because they can influence productivity and the cycling of other substances. Discuss the five types of trace element distributions in the oceans. Provide examples of two trace elements that fit each type of distribution (U10 pts, G7 pts) a. b. Discuss conservative vs. non-conservative mixing between fresh water runoff and...

3. [10pts] Since we humans are largely made of water, our bodies are efficient at absorbing cosmic microwave photons. Assume that you absorb all incident CMB photons. Heat ca- - 2- pacity of water is C = 4200 J kg-1 K-1. You may assume you weigh 100 kg and span a spherical volume of 1 m3 for simplicity. Clearly explain your line of logic. (a) Estimate the average number of CMB photons in a 1 m3 volume today. (b) Estimate...
1) Discuss briefly about three generation of photovoltaic(PV) and importance of weibull distribution and wind rose for wind resource assessment. -- Hot water demand of a building is 50 L/person/day and an average occupancy of the building is 50 people. The supplied cold water temperature is 20 degree celcius and the hot water temperature at the storage is 55 degree celcius. The average solar radiation of the site is 4.5 KWh/m^2 /day. Estimate the collector area requirement for the given...
