Approach this final project as if you were consulting for a local company. The CEO of this company is dealing with you directly and has a very limited understanding of statistics. Your project should be written taking this into account. Your project will be graded on the following criteria: 1. Appearance of project (This is a lot more important than you might think). 2. The quality of your data. 3. The project’s ability to convey the information contained within the statistics in a way that a non-statistician can understand it. 4. The accuracy of the statistics contained in the project and the comments concerning them.

Project overview: Construct two claims (claims should be appropriate), one for each variable, and perform a hypothesis test on each claim. (Calculations done by hand) 6. Show a scatter plot for the two variables together with the regression line. (Minitab) 7. Find the correlation coefficient between the two variables. (Minitab) 8. Test to see if you have statistical correlation between the two variables. (Calculations done by hand)

This will include a dependent variable plus two independent variables that you may think are either negatively or positively correlated with the dependent variable. List the observed data (include the source). Then do the following: a. State before doing any calculations whether you think they are positively or negatively correlated. What is your rationale? Example: I test for a correlation between the quantity of coffee that people buy (Y) with the...

i have this project on statistics and I dont know how to go about it. i sm to pick a topic and it was going to be Age and dementia. please can someone help as i am so frustrated already. In some cases, the relationship between the two variables is a linear one. In this project, you will need to choose a pair of real-world variables, collect data on those variables, and describe the relationship between the variables. To complete...

Project Number 9 Statistical analysis of radiation data recorded by an ionization chamber Project Number 9 Statistical analysis of radiation data recorded by an ionization chamber In this project, you are required to statistically analyze the data of radiation dose recorded by an ionization chamber experimentally in the research lab. Background of the problem: For measuring the radiation dose delivered to a body by a given radiation beam, an ionization chamber (detector) is used. An ionization chamber is made up...

Regression and Correlation Methods: Correlation, ANOVA, and Least Squares This is another way of assessing the possible association between a normally distributed variable y and a categorical variable x. These techniques are special cases of linear regression methods. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate methods of regression and correlation analysis in which two different variables in the same sample are related. The following are three important statistics, or methodologies, for using correlation and regression: Pearson's correlation coefficient ANOVA...

here is the data analysis project, please I need an excellent project, it is due 4 hours! Statistics course. GENERAL DESCRIPTION For the data analysis project, you address some questions that interest you with the statistical methodology we learn in MAT 235.   You choose the question; you decide how to collect data; you do the analyses. The questions can address almost any topic (although I have veto power), including topics in economics, psychology, sociology, natural science, medicine, public policy, sports,...

psy230 flipped assignment 4- linear regression. thank you PSY 230 Flipped Classroom Assignment: Linear Regression GRADED ASSIGNMENT Prompt: After finding an association between openness to experience and interest in statistics, the statistics instructor examined another personality trait: extraversion. Again, he hypothesizes that there would be a positive association between the two variables, such that greater levels of extraversion will be associated with greater levels of interest in statistics. To test this hypothesis, he used the same participants from his course...
