ANOVA is only telling you that there is a / are differences, not which groups are different.

Explanation:

When F test statistic or Fobt is greater than the F critical value, then we reject the null hypothesis and concluded that there is difference in at least two population means, but it do not tell you that exact in which pairs there is a significant difference, so we need to use post hoc analysis for checking the paired differences.
