For the diagram, draw a rod shaped bacteria for every species given and according to the description of the endospore provided, draw the endospore at one end or at the center of the bacterial cell. Color the endospore green and the cell body purplish because they are all gram positive.

2) Three endospore forming bacteria:

• Clostridium tetani = causes tetanus
• Bacillus anthracis = causes anthrax
• Clostridium perfringes = causes food poisoning, diarrhoea

3) Functions of the neuron structures:

• axon - helps in conducting the electrical impulse from one neuron to another, i.e., they trasmit the signals from one neuron to another
• dendrite - These are branched segments that helps in activation of the neuron cell body. They receive the signals and impulses from the axon of the previous neuron and transmit it to the next neuron cell body
• cell body - contains the nucleus and undergoes all the major functions of the neuron
