For this discussion question, imagine that you are in charge of the US Department of Energy and pretend that the President of the United States has assigned to you the task of devising a plan to increase our use of renewable energy sources. The president wants a report on his/her desk this week that specifies how you intend to increase the total amount of renewable energy consumed in the country.

In your initial post, please propose and summarize an energy policy for the United States that does the following:

1) Provides a list of the renewable sources that you will use.

2) What percentages of your research and development budget will you devote to fossil fuels, nuclear power, renewable energy, and improving energy efficiency?

3) How will you assure it goes forward as planned?

The list of renewable energy sources are solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectricity, geothermal energy tides generated energy.

Were I in charge of the U.S. Department of Energy, and I have 100 units of funding to allocate in the research and development area, 50 credits would go to renewable energy and improving energy efficiency.50 credits would go to renewable energy, from this 50 units further distributed as 30 would go to improving energy efficiency. Efficiency is high on priorities because of how increased efficiency is equitable to free energy. 5 would go to solar, because it's almost there, 5 would also wind because we need turbines that won't kill birds, and 5 would go to geothermal to figure out better ways of digging. 5 unit to hydropower

Once the pass budget for renewable energy resources I will start to delivering plan to people who are involved in plant. After planed discussion with them I will to hand to hand delivery of responsibility to implement the plan within time. Regular inspection, decision making on time, problem solving and cooperation help to goes plan forward.
