Its basically everone point of view of seeing some context like in film. The issue that this film raise is the integrated concept of the decline of human family and by performing biggest social , economic and strategic challenge that US will face in coming years or decades but solution may be yet not available. It also comprises of fertility (or birth rate ) which is below the replacement rate in most of developed nations.

On the part of consumption of consumer goods as population control becomes the major issue in the growing world , so in my opinion its actually the fulfilling the neccesties of everyone with the growth of the nation which relates it directly to GDP. As population increases demand will high so it may cause curse of balancing the both sides.

Politically its a major issue for all, everyone in politics must include it in there agendas of the government which may show some solution of this in an acceptable way.
