Em= 2*10^9 J Eu=U(1.25Rs)

Em=Ek + Eu from the graph: Eu= -4*10^9J

Then -2*10^9=Em + (-4*10^9) Em=2*10^9 J

(b) if Rs=67000km

The turning point will be when the velocity is cero and the projectile is at the highest point. At this moment the kinetic energy is cero and the mechanicla enery is the same as the potencial energy. To determine this point, use the equation for the potencial energy given.
