Sol.

Amino acid R is arginine. It is a very essential amino acid, has a positively charged guanidino group.

Amino acid Q is glutamine. It is an alpha amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. Its side chain is similar to that of glutamic acid, except that carboxylic acid is replaced by an amide. It is classified as charge neutral, polar amino acid.

Amino acid A is alanine. It is a non-essential amino acid and is hydrophobic in nature. It is classified as a charge neutral amino acid.

Amino acid M is methionine. It is classified as an essential amino acid .It is charge neutral and soluble in water.

Hence, among the four amino acids given in the question, only amino acid R i.e. arginine is categorised as a charged amino acid.

So, option (A) is the correct answer for this question.
