The following the life changes that affect the life chances in a positive way,

the ability to save money, higher education, affordable housing, affordable transportation, access to and time exercise, access to affordable health care.

The remaining factors that negatively affect the life chances negatively are,

lack of adequate nutrition, periods of poverty, untreated illnesses or medical conditions, low quality education, extended periods of low wage labor, residential segregation, discrimination.
