This assessment is choosing milk as fast-moving consumer good and going to describe its supply chain from producer to the customer.

The supply chain of milk contains four stages, particularly farmers, cooperative, processors, and supermarkets.

The whole supply chain of milk is as follows:

First of all, cows get milked at the dairy farms by farmers twice a day. And then the drink from the cows get stored for up to 2 days in the refrigerated silos.

Next, refrigerated tankers go to the dairy farms and collect the milk from the silos.

Then that milk gets transported to a processing factory in that refrigerated tankers.

After the transportation of milk to a processing factory, milk gets pasteurized there. Afterward, it gets stored in the refrigerated silos again after the completion of processing.

Afterward, the processing factory transport that refrigerated milk in a refrigerated tank to the milk manufacturers.

After the transportation of refrigerated milk to the milk manufacturers, the milk manufacturers produce various dairy products.

They produce dairy products, and package the milk, and fill them into refrigerated trucks again after putting the juice into pallets.

From the diary Manufacturers, the milk comes in a stage where they get transported into the supermarkets and other retail outlets from where the consumer purchases the milk and dairy products and consume it.
