The X chromosome is sex chromosome which is present in both male and female. In this there are 90 females produced who have red eyes and 43 males with red eyes. In the former there is XX chromosome and the later has XY chromosome. In either of the cases, the X chromosome needs to be attached to the red eyed for the segregation to take place.
