a) Two suitable ploys to be used in advertisement for the above described business are:

1. Since it is a online store, Melissa can attract customers by sending them direct links to new introductions as per latest trends and lucrative offers. This would include providing stress on latest trends in the fashion industry. The digital media can be used to make attractive and interactive advertisements.
2. As the target group is women between the ages 25 and 40 for professional use. Melissa must focus on promoting apparels to working ladies. This could be done by placing attractive posters near business or office centers. Thus, several working women will be able to see the advertisement and get excited to make the purchase.

b) Two ploys that are not suitable to be used in advertisement for the above described business are:

1. As it is a target-centric business, the advertisements cannot be generic or family oriented.
2. Since the apparels sold are majorly for office use, festival-based promotional advertising will not be effective.
