As when we compare the infant industry with the globally developed industry their scale of production is lesser and technology used is not that much advance that is used by the globally developed firms. So, considering these infant industries are at a disadvantage. So, it is necessary for the domestic country to protect the infant industry from the big globally developed frims by imposing tarrifs and quotas it will help in developing invocation and entrepreneurship skills among the citizens of the home country.

Therefore, it is justified to protect infants' industries by imposing tariffs or quota.
