A wheel with a radius of 55.0 cm rolls without slipping along a horizontal floor (see the figure). At time t, the dot P painted on the rim of the wheel is at the point of contact between the wheel and the floor. At a later time t2, the wheel has rolled through one-half of a revolution. Answer #1

a) displacement, 'd' of the point P is half of the circumference

d=\pir =1.727 m

b) angle = arc/radius = d/r

angle = 1.727/0.55 = 3.14 rad

angle = \pi rad

or angle=180 degrees
