Yes, a Mac OS X computer can get a virus. Mac OS X is a line of Apple operating systems (OS) included in every modern Macintosh (Mac) computer. However, it is less likely for a Mac OS X computer to be infected when compared to a Microsoft Windows computer. There are like many virus or malware that affected the Mac computers and caused lots of damage. for example Flashback malware infected over 600,000 Mac computers in the month of April 2012 which was designed to steal users personal information like account details, OSX/KitM.A virus infected few Mac computers too and that caused to take screenshots of users desktop and upload that image to other websites , OSX.proton virus and many more malware affected Mac OS x computers.
