Answer #1

Answer - (a).

Ventricular fibrillation also called VF or Vfib refers to an abnormal and irregular heart rhythm, in which there are rapid uncoordinated fluttering contractions of the lower chamber (ventricles) of the heart. It disrupts synchrony between heartbeat and pulse rate.

It causes ventricles to quiver uselessly, instead of pumping blood.

Ventricular fibrillation may cause sudden cardiac arrest.
