3.External carotid artery

4.Aortic arch

From above downwards on left side

1.vertebral artery

2.Common carotid artery

3.Brachiocephalic trunk

Explanation

Aortic arch gives 3 branches.That is, on the right side of the body gives rise to brachiocephalic trunk and on the left side gives rise to left common carotid artery and left subclavian artery. The brachiocephalic artery is divided into right common carotid artery and right subclavian artery.

Each common carotid artery gives rise to external and internal carotid artery. Internal carotid artery supplies brain and external carotid artery supplies head and neck.

Vertebral artery normally arises from subclavian arteries of both sides of body.

Facial artery arises from external carotid artery.
