A cannon is adjusted so that the barrel is horizontal to the ground. The opening of the barrel is 2.6 m off the ground as shown in the figure below, A cannon ball of mass 20 kg is fired across a flat open field and it travels a distance of 70.0 m before hitting the ground.

a)  Calculate the time for the ball to travel from the cannon to the point just before it hits the ground.

b)  Calculate the velocity with which the ball leaves the cannon. (Hint This velocity is only in the x-direction and is a constant)
