9) In chemistry, a mole is 6.022E23 atoms, molecules or particles i.e. the option (a) is the correct option. Because by definition (IUPAC recommended), a mole of a substance means that 6.022×1023 number of the particles of that substance, so those particles could be atoms, molecules or subatomic particles like electrons or protons etc. So, 1 mole is a measured amount of any kind if substance which contain 6.922×1023 number of particles of that substance.

Where as, atomic weight is the weight of an atom obtained by the sum of mass of protons and neutrons (neglecting the mass of electrons) or simply from the mass number of that atom, for e.g. 40Ca atom has the mass number 49, so the atomic weight of DA aroma is 40u where u is atomic mass unit (1.6603E-23kg). Atomic number is signified by the number of protons present in a particular atom so its not a measure of mole and atomic orbital can be defined as the space or more precisely as the wave function which describe is the motion of an electron.

10) As the organic compounds are likely to be volatile, they should be handled in fume hood when possible, so the correct option is (d). Because in laboratory fume hood is a ventilation set up where lab work can be done, so the volatile organic compound are soaked by the air circulation of the fumes hood and reduces the exposure to organic vapor. Because organic compound's vapor can make many hazards & often harmful to life cycles also. So, it is always a good practice to handle organic compounds under the fume hood.

On the other hand desk drawer is a place to keep stuffs, but it doesn't have any venting mechanism, bench top is a place for work and rubber bulb is a simple apparatus used in laboratory mainly for pipetting the solution or some times in dropper.
