The genetic information which is available for normal and abnormal growth and development are driving important changes in health care.Genes are related to diseases in some or the other ways. Diseases such as diabetes, cardiac diseases are caused because of the issues with multiple genes in combination with life style and environmental factors.

The public health science is essential for interpreting the health significance of genetic variation. The environment or gene interactions at the core of biological phenomenon and most diseases are also based on public health sciences.
